Higher Ground, one of Manchester’s most exciting new kitchens moves to Ducie Street

Ducie Street Warehouse feels like the centre of Manchester at the moment. By day it has become the place for Manchester’s freelance creatives, with the counter serving excellent coffee, breakfast and lunches and plenty of space to sit apart safely. By night, it’s a relaxed spot for socially distanced drinks amongst friends.

HIGHER GROUND TAKE OVER THE RESTAURANT

Next up on Ducie Street, is a restaurant residency from the highly acclaimed ‘Higher Ground’ team. Joseph Otway (Where The Light Gets In’ and Richard Cossins (2-Michelin starred Blue Hill Stone Barns, in New York) curating and cooking up a series of pop-up dinners each weekend, continuing their sharp rise on the Manchester food scene. They do things their way here, always smaller, more intimate sessions but with far more personality, regional providence and masterful attention to detail on show.

The Higher Ground pop-up will serve a five-course sharing menu, starring seasonal produce from the North West alongside natural wine and will run throughout October only.

The sharing menu is £45 per guest with an optional wine pairing for £25.

In keeping with their recent successful dinner pop ups, again Joe and Richard are keeping it cosy. There are just 40 tickets available for each dinner. In accordance with the new world order, the maximum table size is six guests, with pre-payment for the food menu required when booking.

Due to limited tickets, we wholeheartedly recommend you book now while you can.
