I bloody love Pancake Day. In all the debate about which pancake toppings to go for – lemon and sugar, Nutella, bacon and maple syrup, or cheese – or about whether the French-style crepes or fluffy American pancakes are the best. For me, there is no debate – I love them all.
Why choose? When it’s the one day of the year you can reasonably have a multi-course pancake day menu. No pancake goes uneaten.
